my story #2 smiling at peace (1).JPG

Hello beautiful soul

Welcome to my website.  I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Christina, the face and sole/soul creator and practitioner of Chrysalis Kinesiology.

I’m in my early 40’s and have a beautiful life. I am married to my gorgeous wife, we share 3 kids, a dog, a cat, bunnies and guinea pigs. My home is the location for the Chrysalis Kinesiology clinic, and is located in a leafy suburb in Melbourne called Murrumbeena.

Where it all began:

So much of my journey in this life has prepared me for who I am now and the purposeful, soul aligned healing work I do in my beautiful clinic. I grew up in Zimbabwe, Africa, where I spent most of my childhood and teen years, living life on ancient land, infused with powerful ancestral energy. I loved climbing trees, being barefoot in the red earth, stargazing, bush walking, open fires and the overall wholesome lifestyle. The beautiful raw nature and energy of Africa is still in me.

My mum studied and practiced Homeopathy, Meditation and Energy Healing, and integrated these philosophies and practices into our everyday lives. This had a profound impact on my understanding and connection to Energy Medicine and holistic health as I grew up.  I have always had strong intuitive guidance and psychic experiences.  My first memory of experiencing energy healing first hand was at age 8, when my mum took me to a Kinesiologist, who also practiced Reiki and Homeopathy.

After leaving Africa, I returned to Australia for University and I studied a Double Degree in Primary School Teaching and Arts. For many years I had a successful Teaching career overseas, and also in Geelong and Melbourne. I fell madly in love, we planned our life together, and settled down.

Then everything in my life as I knew it fell apart.  I gave birth to my beautiful son, and simultaneously I lost my connection to my partner and my former self. I was thrown into overwhelm, and forgot to trust my intuition and listen to the whispers of my soul.  My relationship broke down and I was left alone with my 9 month old baby.  It was a time of intense grief, anxiety and deep depression.  I was functioning purely in survival mode. In a cocoon of darkness, I hit rock bottom.

After some time of stumbling about in the dark, I’d had enough of feeling disconnected, and chose to do something to get my life back together.  To reconnect to my soul and to assist my energy system to heal, I started seeing a Kinesiologist and a Reiki Master.

Thus began my healing journey, my climb from the ruins up the mountain to recovery -  back to my soul, my truth and my purpose.  With grit and an unwavering belief that I could not let this experience keep me stuck, I realised that there had to be learning in it for my soul’s evolution. With love, compassion and calm determination, I found my path back, consciously transforming myself and my life.  Returning to my alignment and my inner wisdom.

Over time, I healed. I reconnected to my truth and my true self. I continued working on myself with the support of my spirit guides and my energy healers, and felt more peace, radiance, and positivity.  I had more awareness and insight into my soul’s purpose, inner harmony and connection to my intuitive wisdom.  Kinesiology, Reiki and other energy medicine had once again become my way home.

I was so inspired by my reawakening to the amazing life changing power of Kinesiology and energy medicine that I was eager to learn more and to share this gift with others. I enrolled in a Kinesiology course and opened up my own practice in late 2010.  My intention was to empower other women and children to know and return to their soul’s purpose and their power. I named my practice Chrysalis Kinesiology.  ‘Chrysalis’ meaning cocoon or metamorphosis of the caterpillar to butterfly.

Where I am at now:

Since then, I have continued my spiritual and business evolution.  I've studied many holistic modalities, including various branches of energy medicine and practices, to facilitate my own and my client’s healing journey. I now work with other souls on their conscious evolution.   I am forever grateful and honoured for these incredible gifts.

I have seen Christina many times for both me, and also troubles my children have had with sleep and intolerances to certain foods etc. She’s been so helpful and her professional and kind nature makes these appointments really enjoyable. Her knowledge and skills are obvious and we are so grateful for all the assistance she has given us. I highly recommend her!

A view into my world…

  • Spending quality time with my family is of utmost importance to me. Adventurous days out and cosy nights in form the canvas of my home life. Our lively games nights get competitive at times, but we are yet to flip a Monopoly board - so it’s all under control...for now. I’m not competitive you are.

  • One of my favourite creative spaces is my kitchen. I just love how food connects people. I have a passion for combining a multitude of colours and flavours to prepare delicious food for my hungry brood. I can often be heard singing along to 90’s diva power ballads as I haphazardly toss things together.

  • Most chilly Autumn nights I can be found sitting on my couch knitting. All members of my extended family now own one of my simple scarves. Winter gatherings are a colourful woollen parade of the one basic stitch I have mastered.

  • Whether in deep ‘ohming’ meditation, strolling serenely along the beach opening my heart chakra, or pumping weights like a boss with my fave gangsta rap blaring; in my world, many paths lead to grounding and my daily dose of zen.

  • My heart and soul are summoned by nature. The bush, the beach, the country, feathers, and water draw me to them like a magnet. I love collecting treasures and taking photos of the beautiful art nature provides. When deprived of opportunities to be in nature, I can sometimes be found hugging my house plants.

Christina is AMAZING!! - if you need a treatment to help pull you out of a rut or push you forward to where you want to be - this woman is the Kinesiologist for you!
